WordNumberFun app for iPhone and iPad

This app was designed as an educational aid for primary school children. There are two interesting games for children to play, a Word game and a Number game.

The word game is to help children who are learning to read to recognise words by sight. The aim is to pick out the word from the choices provided of a word and two jumbled up versions. The sight words list contains words which are repeated with high frequency and must be recognised by sight. There is an easier level with just three letter words for children who are just getting started with reading. Please select the levels from the menu which can be accessed via the pause button. There is a Word Challenge Level for Adults to have fun too.
The time taken to recognise the word is adjustable via the pause menu.

The number game is a simple addition problem with the choices of right and wrong answers provided below. Touching the right answer enables you to move to the next level. The wrong answer results in an interesting termination. The goal is to reach the elephant at the end. There are 3 different levels which can be accessed via the pause button, level 1 is single digits only where the sum of digits is less than 10. Level 2 is double digit but the sum of individual digits is less than 10 so there is no carry over. Level 3 is double digits with carry over.
